Scuba Diving in Barbados with www.godiving.org
Sheltered diving with good reefs and excellent wrecks - that's Barbados.
The SS Stavronikita was sunk in 1978 and now forms part of the reef, housing sponges and corals with a good variety of fish.
Other wrecks include three inside a shallow bay that can be dived in one go and even try divers can visit them.
Several reefs have good amounts of coral, sponges and fish to keep divers occupied.
Most of the reefs do form drift dives, which are areas that ultimately attract the turtles.
Most of the large fish have left following intensive diving.
But there is still plenty to see and do for the diver visiting Barbados.
